These photos were kindly provided to us by Jan Batger of Whangarei. Her horse Jack is normally difficult to wash as he is constantly attracted to mud and over the years, Jan told us she has tried many treatments and soaps including purple shampoo with poor results. She was blown away by the use of just ONE application and wash of Naturally White and the brilliance of his coat. Jan also loved the fact that she was using a 100% natural horse soap as she disliked using chemicals on her horses. She was so thrilled with the given results, that she sent us these complimentary photos. *Note - These photos have not been photoshoped by the owner or altered. Jack was one very happy and naturally glowing boy!

"Loving your Bee Kind soap, just a quick hose, and a quick swipe of the soap, so easy and such a result! Only tidying him up for the paddock not even a show scrub.."

From Cynamon:

"Hey there, I've sent one to you before but look how white he is after his second wash! I am so happy with the Naturally White Soap. It not only whitens my Australian Shepherds white areas but it also makes the rest of his coat super soft and shiny! Thanks guys"

"I finally got to use your naturally white soap and loved it. My boy hadn't been washed in over a year so he had been soaking up all the season's. Well the photos speak for themselves! The best thing I loved about your soap vs that it slightly foamed making it sooo much easier to wash (scrub with a body brush)his legs.
Thank you. One happy customer. Keep up the great product!!"

If you have a 'HARD WATER' supply, it means the water contains dissolved compounds such as calcium, magnesium, sulphates, chlorides and iron. Untreated water is likely to be a lot harder. This means that when the water is added to the soap, there will be little to no lather depending on the amount of compounds present.

If you live in an urban or developed area you are likely to have access to a treated water supply- which has been stripped of all these compounds and only contains sodium (hence the not so nice taste to town water!). This water is called 'SOFT WATER' and will cause soap to lather up beautifully when water is added, tank water is also likely to be soft water as rain is naturally soft to begin with.

If you do have a hard water supply the cleaning effectiveness of our soap may not be as good as it would be in soft water. However leaving the product on for around 5-10 minutes before rinsing and doing a second wash should remedy this problem.

  1. Used it on my grey and it was amazing!

I used it on my grey and it was amazing! He went from a dull white to a shinny silver white. Also used it to clean mud fever legs and it helped alot. Was great on my white jackrussel . I luv this stuff. It lasts ages and isnt like some soap bars that dont rinse out. Id be happy to purchase in the future.

I got mine and have tried it on the ponies tail and I am in love!!! no terrible stripped damaged breaking tail due to the chemicals in other "whitening" products and a BIG difference .. not quite white yet but it now looks possible !! LOVE LOVE LOVE

  3. Natural Soap Wash

Posted by Melissa Bayley on 2nd Oct 2014

it's really easy to brush manes and tails once you've shampooed, even the thickest of tails. We were intrigued to see how fast they dried and how easy and nice to rinse out it is also. The horses were licking our hands where the soap had dried on us. It didn't feel grose like after some products it feels yuk, your skin afterwards. So, my first impression of the soap was that I loved the smell, tin, stamp, presentation. I prefer a handmade, pure, natural look that is colour and preservative (unnatural) free. I wasn't too sure how long the sponge would last and how easy it would be to use on a tail. I imagined it'd be great for the body and mane. Turns out it's actually a really great idea. It is easy to use, rather lather free and it kind of feels like you're not working hard enough without masses of bubbles but if you look through the tail hair you can see it right the way through the thickest of tails. You can almost see it working. The horses liked the smell too which is odd, normally they hate washes of any sort but they were dead keen to have a look and sniff of the tin contents. I used the sponge on the tail and legs of my palomino. She has a gold and black mix of hair colour in her tail. Unfortunately it's at the end of her tail so looks like a stain! It's not shown how amazing it looks to the eye. It's also very easy to brush dry once washed. My daughter was so taken with the soap she washed her whole pony! He's got four white socks and is prone to mud fever so she wanted to wash his legs. She couldn't believe how great they came up and how quickly. He's naturally a clean boy (unlike my mud magnet!) anyway but look at how clean even his hooves came up! He is an itchy boy also, forever scratching his mane out so she washed his mane to see if that helped. I held him and whilst doing so felt something on my arm. There was a teeny tick crawling on me. Can't be sure if it was trying to escape the horse shampoo or what but I'd like to think so! I'll let you know if we notice a less itchiness over the next few days. The first message follows on from this information. Thank you for the opportunity to try this. I'm going to wash the dogs next! My daughter said it'd make a brilliant gift and she loved the tin. Even when it's wet and hairy with the spring shed! Great stocking stuffer! Feel free to use photos and words. I'll try to write a shorter recommendation if you like and I'll take more photos. Looking at the horses this morning they are still clean! My palomino actually has a white foot which is not easily seen but was noticeable after the wash!
